How it works

Your coach will then send you an invite to add the true coach app. Once you are added to the system, your coach will reach out to address your specific needs and answer any questions you have. The True Coach app is free for client usage. This app allows you to communicate directly with your coach, shows you instructional videos, allows you to log your workouts, take notes and follow your progress. There will be 3 workouts given per week. Programming consists of: Part A: HITT (high intensity interval Training) workout of bodyweight, dumbbells & conditioning. Part B: Accessory work (weight training) for stabilization and muscular balance. You can choose to do both parts each day, split it up to two separate days or only choose the one you need . You will have access to email a coach, on the app, but this is not a coach monitored program.
Part A: 8 Burpees, 10 Air Squats- 10 min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) Your intensity level is relative to you.
Part B: 5 sets of 10 - Banded rows, 4 sets of 10 dumbbell Romanian deadlifts, Tabata style (20 secs of work, 10 sec break 8 rounds)- arrested supermans
These workouts are customized to your individual needs and only recommended if you need VERY specific training. We offer several types of training methods. This can consist of: Powerlifting, CrossFit, Olympic lifting, conditioning, body weight movements, strongman, injury specific programs, swim based strength & conditioning etc. You can let your coach know what you want and he will program it for you. This program is coach monitored. Your coach will be checking in to see your logged workouts and progress. Q & A
What equipment will I need? For HIIT training, a jump rope and possibly weights if you want to make it more advanced. For accessory work, adjustable dumbbells and a set of resistance bands. * see our products page for links to equipment http://kastlmuscletherapy.com/products
What if I want more than bodyweight, for my HIIT training? We set the programs for bodyweight so you do not need a lot of equipment and so you can do them everywhere, like on vacation. You are more than welcome to add weight IF it does not compromise your form.
Do I have to have previous fitness experience? No. The programming includes video tutorials. You can also email your coach through the online app if you have questions or concerns.
Why cant I just do cardio? While cardio training is great for building strong hearts and lungs, it doesn’t provide the stimulus your body needs to build stronger muscles and bones.
What if I want to workout more than 3 days a week? You are more than welcome to workout more. Keep in mind, this is balanced programming to keep you from over training and giving you proper recovery time. More isn’t always better and that definitely rings true with workouts. Here are some ideas if you like to stay active: You can split up part A and part B to do them on different days, swim, hike, bike, yoga, walk, stretch, do mobility work etc.
